Geisha Painting

These are a couple of photos of a geisha painting that I did for my wife. It has been something that I had promised to do quite awhile ago for her. I haven't told her that I painting it and thought it would be funny to post pictures and leave clues around the house to see if she discovers it. These photos are stored on her laptop, they are also still stored in our camera, and the painting itself is in a frame underneath our bed. I also have a sketch of the painting laying on one of the art tables in our basement. The painting is 24 x 36 and is acrylic and ink on a thick paper that was given to me by a friend.

Screamin Jay Hawkins

This is a drawing for a weekly artist email challenge. The topic was to do a drawing of a favorite artist or musician. I chose Screamin Jay Hawkins. He was a blues musician from the 50's to the 90's who was known for his humorous songs and wild stage show. I had wanted to do a picture of him a long time ago for a class project, but just ended up not choosing him as the subject. So I guess it was a long time overdue. Vomit Monster

This was for a weekly artist email challenge. The idea was one that wasn't used at the 24 hour group comic project that just took place.

I'm getting a little carried away, but its been awhile since posting so I need to get back in the habit. These are pics of a big ass painting that I did. It is around 6 feet long and about 4 feet high. It was hung in a gallery for a Final Friday thing that goes on in Cincinnati at the end of each month. Funny story. Some dude was all about it and wanted to buy it. I had already left but my wife was still there. He kept talking about it but didn't want to pay how much I asked for it. My wife didn't think to at least call me and ask if I wanted to sell it cheaper. So if you see that guy or you are the guy, call me I still have it.

I hate my scanner!!!

My scanner really sucks! I gave up on scanning shit and just went back to taking photos, its so much easier. These are from a couple of nude model sessions done several months back.
